Study of Bodhisattva activities based on Shantideva's classic text.
Institut Vajra Yogini is a Buddhist center of the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition, one of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism. It is part of the FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition). The center is dedicated to the study and practice of Buddhist teachings and offers a wide range of activities including teachings, seminars, meditation retreats, and intensive deity practices.
The institute’s resident teacher is Geshe Tenzin Loden, who entered Sera Je Monastery at the age of 9 and obtained his Geshe degree in 1994. The center also hosts many visiting teachers as part of FPMT’s activities.
In addition to Buddhist teachings and seminars, Institut Vajra Yogini regularly organizes meditation retreats, intensive deity practices, and accommodates solitary retreatants for both short and extended periods. Since 1999, the institute has also offered activities in Toulouse, including meditations, rituals, Buddhist teachings, and community gatherings.
The center features a Temple of Compassion with a thousand-armed Chenrezig statue and provides thousands of hours of teachings, a photo gallery, and a library of books available for on-site consultation.
