ARC Raiders 1.36.0: Matchmaking, Crossover & More

Live Update 1.36.0 delivers the matchmaking overhaul you’ve been asking for, a crossover with THE FINALS, significantly buffed ARC Turbine loot, and the start of Expedition 4 and Trials Season 5. The update also brings a store redesign, a batch of quality-of-life fixes, and the full enforcement of anti-cheat measures. Here’s what changed.

Separate Matchmaking Per Squad Size

Your playstyle is now tracked independently for Solo, Duo, and Trio rounds. Previously, a single profile covered all squad sizes, so friendly behavior in Solo could make Trio matches feel cooperative, or aggressive Trio play could bleed into your Solo sessions. Now switching squad size no longer requires matchmaking to recalibrate—you can go from quiet looting in Solo to PvP-focused Trio without the system catching up.

THE FINALS Crossover

From July 9, 3 pm CEST to July 30, 3 pm CEST, completing a set of Contracts in THE FINALS earns you the Azimuth outfit and Archeologist backpack in ARC Raiders. After the event window, the reward direction flips—you’ll earn the Azimuth bundle in THE FINALS by playing ARC Raiders.

Expedition 4 & Trials Season 5

Expedition 4 replaces Skill Points with Mystery Rewards, awarding Blueprints and Raider Tokens for dealing damage, and introduces the Zenith outfit as a reward. Trials Season 5 adds weapon-specific ARC damage challenges and the Scorta heavy-armor outfit. The store also receives a redesign and adds the Triumph Set.
