We see the world and ourselves in a “mythological” way and as a result\, we generate numerous “mini” myths that further compound our problems in life. Join Karuna Cayton as we explore the source of our problems from a Buddhist perspective. Sunday sessions Open to everyone!\nOverview :\nThrough insightful teachings and guided practices\, you will:\nConfront the Myth of Permanence: We cling to the illusion of lasting happiness and stability\, yet everything is in constant flux. Explore how embracing impermanence can lead to greater peace and resilience.\nChallenge the Myth of Happiness: Our relentless pursuit of external happiness often leads to disappointment. Discover the true nature of lasting well-being that resides within.\nQuestion the Myth of Randomness: Life may seem chaotic and unpredictable\, but underlying patterns and causes are at play. Learn to see the interconnectedness of all things and make conscious choices.\nBy delving into these and other myths\, you will gain profound insights into the nature of suffering and the path to liberation. Karuna Cayton’s unique blend of Buddhist wisdom and modern psychology offers practical tools to transform your relationship with yourself\, others\, and the world around you.\nThis program is for everyone\, no background or experience in Buddhism is required. You can drop into the classes as it suits your schedule or come to all of them.\nWHEN: on Sundays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm ( PDT)\nWHERE: Online and in person\nFACILITATOR: Karuna Cayton\nMORE INFORMATION AND BOOKINGS: please check the Land of Medicine Buddha events page\nMeet the Facilitator:\nKaruna Cayton acquired a Masters in Clinical Psychology in 1992.
